Don’t Over Think Website Blog Posts

It’s not easy for everyone to just sit down and write a blog post for their website every day.

There’s a whole flurry of worry that comes over non-writers like:
“What do I say in a website blog?”

What do you tell clients who want more revenue–say that.

“What if I can’t spell?”

Use dictionary.com

“What if I don’t know how to use the right punctuation?”

There are no punctuation police online or offline. That I know of.

“What if I don’t write anything?”

Your website doesn’t get any traffic — this should be your first question.

5 Website Content Writing Rules
1. There are no rules
2. Instead of asking start writing
3. Write like you talk
4. Write daily or at least 3xs a week
5. Please do not use big words

If you don’t say words like exacerbate, allegory, discern, oblige then don’t put them in your content. You will sound like you can’t write if you do this.

Write What You Know for Your Website
If you get a headache when you write it’s probably because you’re thinking too hard.

Write what you’re thinking your clients should know.

Write about a popular brand, product or service and how a client can use it.

Introduce a new item to your readers. Talk about a project you’re working on.

Keep Website Posts Short, Simple
Whatever you write in a blog, keep it short and keep it simple. You’re giving an update, a burst of insight on your product.

Ultimately, you’re posting a website blog with website content that will help your website receive more traffic.

Can’t Write? Pay Someone Else
Paying a writer to blog for you is very inexpensive. It’s cheaper than paying someone to write a dissertation for you.

The point of a website blog is to get to a point and be interesting. Offer something worthwhile.

If you haven’t got time then pay someone to write your website blog for you. It’s one way to avoid a headache if you feel that you can’t write and it stresses you out.

Wasting Your Website
Leaving a website inactive for any length of time is a waste of time and money. There is not a magnet drawing traffic to your site.

Content and SEO bring traffic to your site.

When clients say that no one is using their website my first question is when have you last used your website.

Many say they didn’t know they had to. Not true. We clearly and specifically share all ways to post, blog, add photos, do social media, and video posts.

We tell all clients to use it or lose it. The reason we build sites clients can manage is so that they can save money on SEO.

We give you the tools to post to your website. If you stop using it so will the search engines.
